Episode synopsis TL;DR:

Three powerful guided exercises to explore the purpose of life from a spiritual perspective. I explore what was before the big bang, what was it like for God to create and bring forth life. What LIFE is, and then how that applies to the lives we are living. Really powerful stuff. Please do not listen while driving, operating heavy machinery or responsible for the care of others. Sit down, headphones on, eyes closed at times… relax, grow.

Episode transcript:

[00:00:00] Hello, this is Mark from the way back. And this is episode 79, which is recorded live on 2nd October 2025.

[00:00:10] Rather than tell you what’s going to be in this episode, let me just share a couple of comments that people posted on the original Rumble video after they’d watched the live show that was the most profoundly transformative show. If it could be live show number one, then I would suggest watching it first to everyone and all subsequent shows could be viewed through this and come from this deeper state. And knowing you have said before that truth resonates, it really does, in waves, but this is one you can come back to again and again and have new realizations from because it’s timeless. Thank you for articulating the almost impossible to describe and being the facilitator, opening the door to understanding.

[00:00:53] And a second comment.

[00:00:56] Wow. Just wow. I’ve come away from the show uplifted and joyful. The truth is amazing. God is always watching over us and never judges. He loves us. He’s created humanity to fulfill a purpose. Watch the show to find out what it is, all explained in such a simple, accessible way. Profound. Thank you Mark. God bless you.

[00:01:19] I don’t think I need to say anything more and I’m grateful to those people that have watched the show, supported the show, and those that leave comments.

[00:01:27] It’s really heartwarming, really. So if you want to know what that is all about, then join me in enjoying episode 79.

[00:01:37] And do feel free to leave comments and do rate, like subscribe and all the things that help support the channel because it doesn’t cost anything other than a moment of your time, but it helps more and more good people just like you to discover this show and benefit from it. God bless you.

==== LIVE SHOW BEGINS ====

[00:01:59] Good evening. I’m Mark Zaretti from The Way Back and this is discussing Spirituality, the live show, episode 79 and it’s going to be an interesting show. Tonight we’re going to lean much more heavily on your experience.

[00:02:15] I’m going to be conducting a number of exercises and I’m going to invite you. It’s obvious everything is voluntary. I’m going to invite you to at times close your eyes and just see what turns up as I describe things to you and guide you in a gentle way. We’re not going to be doing any meditation or anything like that, but it is going to be relaxed, it’s going to be intimate, I guess. And it’s all about spirituality. So if that sounds interesting to you, then you’re in the right place.

[00:02:44] If You’ve not been here before and you’re wondering, what is this place then? I’m a guy who’s been doing and teaching meditation and doing meditation for many, many years. I’ve written a number of books. I’ve been on local radio, magazines, written articles, various people as well, and contributed to other books as well as my own.

[00:03:05] And I’ve been doing this for 43, 44 years, coming up to 44 years, actually, and teaching since the mid to late 90s. So not saying I’ve got all the answers, but I’ve certainly got a lot of experience to draw upon.

[00:03:22] And it’s that experience that I’m going to be leaning heavily into for tonight’s show. And yeah, let’s just crack on as ever.

[00:03:34] Let me know, guys, in the chat if you want me to turn up the volume or make any changes. It’s always a live show, so we’re always, always open feedback. Basically everything’s looking good from my end. And yeah, it is interesting. Let’s just see if we can get this to.

[00:03:55] Yeah, hopefully you can hear a little bit of background music there as well, just to set the scene. But anyway, yeah, so here we are. It’s episode 79 on the 2nd of October, 2025. Wow. Every. Every time I see the date, I can’t believe what year we’re in.

[00:04:14] You know, time is flying and I heard this years ago, but people talk about the fact that it feels like time is faster now than it used to be. So I don’t know what your experience is of that, but I’d be interesting in the chat whether you think it’s speeding up, slowing down, or just the same, maybe you were just getting busier. Maybe that’s the thing. But so let’s get into this particular show.

[00:04:41] What are we going to be actually looking at tonight? So we’re going to be looking at spiritual perspective from a much bigger perspective. And in order to do that, we’re going to play around with three different exercises.

[00:04:55] Ultimately, we’re hopefully going to learn more about the purpose of life again, obviously, from a spiritual point of view and going to give some kind of a testimony to these things, you know, all will become clear as we progress through this episode.

[00:05:18] So here we are. Look, I just started by saying it’s the year 2025, and obviously that’s 2025, Anno Domini, or AD or as some people think it means after the death of a guy called Jesus.

[00:05:35] And I believe actually year one is his fifth year of life. So you can Kind of do a bit of maths and play around with that if you want, but roughly 2000 years, and obviously 2000 years since that. But what happened before? How far back does it go?

[00:05:53] Now? If you’ve been following the show, or maybe if you’ve listened to other people talking about spirituality and things like that, then you’ve probably stumbled across the idea of enlightenment.

[00:06:05] And it’s one of those words, to be honest. It means different things to different people.

[00:06:11] The simplest way I can explain it, the simplest way I can explain it is that if you keep transcending limits, and that in meditation starts with letting go of your body and letting go of awareness of your mind and things like that. But if you keep going and if you’re guided by something which ultimately has to be the source of everything, because where I’m going with this is towards that, then you can transcend all limits. And fundamentally the greatest limit is space, time, matter, energy, the kind of continuum of existence. So what would happen if you transcended all of that? Well, you be beyond time, you’d be beyond space, you’d be on measure, beyond all limits, that which is limitless, before time, etc. Well, it sounds like we’re describing what some people refer to as God, but for the purpose of this episode, I’m going to refer to as the Source. Just so that we don’t keep tripping over religious associations, because we’re not talking about religion, we’re talking about spirituality. And so if you’ve heard of this idea of enlightenment, then it’s a concept that you might be familiar with. And if someone had attained that, truly, as opposed to maybe just having some kind of out there experience, you know, that is akin to what some people experience on certain mind altering substances. If you actually had real spiritual enlightenment, then it’s not an experience, it’s a state, it’s a change that’s permanent.

[00:07:42] And you would be in some way able to tap into that which is one thing everywhere, beyond space, beyond time, etc. It doesn’t make you into the Source or God, but it means that your ability to transcend your own limits and be one with that which is one thing, everywhere is present. And so that’s something that I spent thousands of hours in meditation pursuing. And back in, I always get the date wrong. I can’t remember if it’s 2009, 2008, Roundabout. Then there’s a photo of actually of me just after I’d done it. Literally, someone took a photo. So, like from that photo date, I Can work it out. But anyway, I digress. The point is that at some point I went through that experience, that process, that unfolding, that letting go. I was going to say experience.

[00:08:34] This kind of has some kind of experience afterwards. But the actual event is nothing to do with the body, the mind, the emotions, the memory, the brain, the physical body, the identity that you can see here as Mark. Anyway, you get the idea. So I’m going to be drawing on that, that I’ve understood from the state.

[00:08:55] And that takes us back to this before the beginning, because that’s what we’re alluding to, what was there before the beginning? You know, because certain books start with in the beginning. But I’d like to be more accurate and go, well, what was there before the beginning? And just to say Panther 9 says, yes, it is a space age date. It should still be the 1900s. Well, there’s some theories out there that maybe it is the 1900s or the 1800s, the 1400s.

[00:09:27] But yeah, certainly time does seem to be.

[00:09:30] I think it’s all relative to the pace of life, I think, to be honest. But.

[00:09:35] So we’re warming up before the beginning and this will lead us straight on to the first exercise.

[00:09:45] So at this point you don’t need to keep your eyes open. You can just close your eyes and there’s some nice gentle music playing in the background and you can notice the rhythm of that and you can notice my voice and just take a deep breath because this is a relaxing thing. I want you to relax even more. As much as you want, as much as you can, because you are in control throughout. Okay, we’re just going to share this moment together and take another deep breath and just relax because I’m just gonna take you on a little journey. But your imagination is going to do the work.

[00:10:35] So with your eyes closed, if it’s safe to do so obviously if you’re driving a car, this is probably not the right thing to be listening to right now.

[00:10:42] But if you can then just close your eyes.

[00:10:50] Now we’re talking about before the beginning.

[00:10:54] So let’s just start letting go of things that are now, like the sense of where you’re sitting and the room around you. It’s okay if you notice things, it’s okay if you feel things, it’s okay if you hear things. Things, but just let them be. It’s the same with your thoughts.

[00:11:11] There was a time before you were having the thoughts that you’re having.

[00:11:15] There’ll be a time afterwards. But what we’re looking for is before the first thought.

[00:11:21] That’s a thought.

[00:11:24] So just take another deep breath and start to go back there. And there wouldn’t have been any things. So before the first thing, what if it was just a space?

[00:11:37] And what if that space was so vast that it had no edges?

[00:11:45] And because there was nothing to compare it to, what if it was at the same time infinitely small and beyond measure?

[00:11:58] What would that be like?

[00:12:04] Now, there is no you in that space.

[00:12:13] So just be the space, the profoundness of it, the limitless of limitlessness of it.

[00:12:25] There is no time.

[00:12:29] This would be the purest beingness.

[00:12:32] Not doing, not observing, not even noticing, just being still and stiller.

[00:12:51] There wouldn’t even be a sense of I just is.

[00:13:04] And there’d be no time, so there’d be no measure of how long.

[00:13:10] Now allow yourself to just enjoy being.

[00:13:18] And with your eyes closed, that sense of space and stillness and peace.

[00:13:56] Now imagine if within that simple beingness, you suddenly become became aware.

[00:14:11] And that awareness was like a spark, a spark of light.

[00:14:25] A point.

[00:14:26] Just a single point, nothing more.

[00:14:30] It has no size because there’s nothing to compare it to.

[00:14:37] It has no location because there’s nothing to measure it against. It just simply is a single point.

[00:14:49] But because of it, you could now have awareness of.

[00:14:58] And as you notice that point, there’s a potential that there could be another point.

[00:15:08] And so within that great space of your awareness, there are two points, two sparks, two dots.

[00:15:23] Now that there are two, one is not the other and the other is not the other.

[00:15:30] So there is differentiation, and one is there and the other one is somewhere else.

[00:15:40] So there starts to be the sense of space and distance. And you could draw a line between those two dots, and then that becomes a thing.

[00:15:53] And you can be at one end or the other end or the middle or somewhere in between.

[00:15:59] And if you could be at one end and then at the other end, then there must be some passage.

[00:16:08] And so we now have time, because before you were there, but now you are here.

[00:16:18] This line is just one directional.

[00:16:25] What if one point fixed on that line, like a bit of string, went all the way around the other point?

[00:16:38] Well, then you’d have a disk marked out by the two points.

[00:16:45] A plane, if you like.

[00:16:54] But now we have a plane. There is an up and a down, a forwards and a backwards, a left and a right.

[00:17:01] You can be in the center or you could be at the edge.

[00:17:06] So there’s more differences.

[00:17:10] And so there’s an upside and a downside. And other kinds of differences come about.

[00:17:18] There’s a dark end and a light end. There’s a hot and a cold, a yin and a yang, but there’s nothing happening.

[00:17:35] This is all within you.

[00:17:39] So what’s needed is something just as you’re observing it, things that are capable of observing.

[00:17:53] And so you create life.

[00:17:56] Just simple, one thing, then another, then another. And each is slightly different.

[00:18:04] Some more yin, some more Yang, but now you can observe them observing each other and observing that plane.

[00:18:26] So we started with nothing, but because we started to notice we had a spark, and then another, and then a line that became a disk, that became differences that engendered life.

[00:19:00] So open your eyes if you haven’t already done so, and let’s just talk that through.

[00:19:12] So in the beginning was just a big space, a nothingness so vast it was infinitely big, but there was nothing to compare it to, so it was infinitely small.

[00:19:24] And then we had a point within it, and you can see that on the screen.

[00:19:32] And then that point had another point.

[00:19:39] And because they’re not in the same place, there’s division, there’s two. One is on the left, one is on the right, and that leads to a line.

[00:19:53] And if we go back to the point, you could say that that is one dimension.

[00:20:01] When we have the two points, we’re becoming two dimensional.

[00:20:05] And then we are, when we have the line, and then if that line, as I said, if the point on the left went all the way around, the point on the right staying to that line, then you’d have a plane, a disk.

[00:20:22] And as you can see, that disk has different qualities. A dark side and a light edge and a center and an edge and an up and a down and left and a right, all still within that space. Nothing has changed.

[00:20:37] And then you have life. And you can see that one is more yin, one is more Yang, one is lighter, one is darker.

[00:20:55] So obviously I’m talking about something more, more than just these slides.

[00:21:06] So just take a moment and if you want, you can close your eyes. But we’ve now got to a point where we’ve got a very simple creation, if you like.

[00:21:21] We’ve got yin and Yang being expressed in this plane. There’s hot areas and cold areas, there’s, you could say, night and day, light and dark, good and bad, all of these different opposites. And then you’ve got some basic, let’s just call them life, beings, entities, whatever.

[00:21:41] Some are more Yang, some are more yin.

[00:21:45] So I want you to close your eyes again and go back into that stillness that contains all of this. And Just observe. Be as neutral as possible and just observe what it would be like to be observing this interplay of these different characters. And on the screen I’ve drawn two, but there could be 200 or 2000 or 2 million, it doesn’t really matter.

[00:22:16] Just observe what it would be like to be observing life playing out on a simple plane.

[00:22:33] Notice how the yin and the Yang are slightly different.

[00:22:36] How do they interact?

[00:22:38] What starts to happen?

[00:22:40] Does one dominate another?

[00:22:45] Does one yield? Does one push?

[00:22:48] Notice these things, but notice what it’s like to be noticing.

[00:22:54] This is the second exercise and then I’ll tell you more.

[00:23:02] But take another deep breath and just with your eyes closed, find that disc and see the life upon it simply playing out.

[00:23:16] It wouldn’t be like down here, it would be simple and take another breath and be even stiller.

[00:23:38] Perhaps you’ve noticed that you noticing is not the same as you being involved.

[00:23:45] That if you’re truly neutral, peaceful and still, then there is this creation with these entities interacting completely within you, but separate from you.

[00:24:11] Just enjoy that for a moment. Notice what you notice.

[00:24:22] And perhaps you’ve noticed something else, what isn’t there.

[00:24:31] So bring your eyes, open your eyes. Bring yourself back.

[00:24:37] Just be back here with me now.

[00:24:43] Because what we just did now is having got to the point where you started with nothing and you created creation and then you created life so that you could watch the interplay between yin and yang and all the differences and all the subtleties, did you get to a point where you noticed that what wasn’t represented was you?

[00:25:14] Interesting.

[00:25:17] Feel free to write in the chat chat, But I know I’m asking you to be relaxed and still, so I don’t expect you to. But you can share whatever you’re noticing so far.

[00:25:33] Because what wasn’t present in that creation as I’m showing in a screen, was you.

[00:25:42] I don’t mean the you that’s sitting in this room watching this live show. I’m talking about you. That is the space that created this creation. But you are one thing everywhere.

[00:26:00] There wasn’t even time until there were two dots and a line between them.

[00:26:05] So how can you be in creation and be the stillness, the neutrality, the love and the acceptance that contains it?

[00:26:19] Well, there is a clue.

[00:26:22] Have you ever heard of the words that God made man in his own image?

[00:26:29] It didn’t mean that God had arms and legs.

[00:26:34] And if we change the word, God forbid, the source, the source of all there is, made humanity in its own likeness.

[00:26:46] Interesting.

[00:26:50] So what does that mean?

[00:26:55] Let’s Have a look at that.

[00:26:57] Just a little bit deeper.

[00:27:01] This is stuff that I’ve referred to in the past, and I’m just bringing it together in this way. So this human that we got kind of glowing in the middle has this green sphere in their chest. And we’ll keep things really simple and just refer to that as the heart or the heart center.

[00:27:19] And that’s the seat of the higher self.

[00:27:23] Okay, now I’ve got an arrow coming in from somewhere saying guidance.

[00:27:31] And that’s just indicating that even our higher self, which guides us, receives guidance ultimately from the Source.

[00:27:45] And because we’re, metaphorically speaking, on that plane with those other things and other people interacting and some are more yang and some are more yin, then sometimes we’re challenged.

[00:28:02] And so one of the qualities or attributes of our higher self is that when we down here demonstrate good qualities of character, such as I’ve written there, courage and compassion and judgment, positivity and spirituality and tolerance and wisdom, etc.

[00:28:23] When we demonstrate these good qualities of character, then our soul grows in the particular quality like courage or spirituality.

[00:28:41] And that is soul growth. In other words, we experience it. We make a conscious soul free will choice to be more courageous in a moment or given a choice. We choose the more spiritual choice. And each time we choose the right choice based on the guidance from our higher self, then our higher self grows because it benefits from the experience of having made that right choice.

[00:29:11] So God or the Source made humanity in its own image, means that humanity is demonstrating the qualities, potentially demonstrating the qualities of that which is the source of all.

[00:29:28] Now, on the left hand side there, I’ve written some words that we all, I think, recognize as good. And we’ve got love, joy, stillness, neutrality, and peace.

[00:29:39] Hmm.

[00:29:41] Stillness, neutrality, peace.

[00:29:44] Those were the words that I used to describe that space.

[00:29:50] It’s perfectly still, it’s perfectly neutral, it’s completely at peace and remains so irrespective of what is happening within that creation that it created.

[00:30:04] Now, those words in this context, when I’m talking about human being, are states.

[00:30:12] So when a human experiences stillness or neutrality or peace, and I don’t mean something within mindfulness or some kind of psychological thing, I’m talking about the actual state, profound beyond words, beyond understanding.

[00:30:36] And like, if it’s love, not a love for someone or something, but just be overflowing with love, that kind of thing. Inexplicably, when a human experiences those states, they are experiencing the qualities of what it is to be the source.

[00:30:58] And courage and compassion and judgment and positivity and spirituality and tolerance and wisdom and other things I haven’t written. There are also facets of the goodness of the Source.

[00:31:12] So if we go back to the previous picture, then the Source created humanity within this duality, this creation, so that the qualities and character of the Source had the potential to be demonstrated via humanity.

[00:31:36] Which is pretty. Pretty astounding, really.

[00:31:43] So it’s not that simple, though. Not just you and two other things, all in harmony and balance.

[00:31:52] The picture that we live in these days is more like this. There’s lots of different things, some expressing more positivity or goodness, some expressing less. And then you’ve got humans, and then you’ve got people, humans, but they’re dark and they’re not bright.

[00:32:15] Why might that be?

[00:32:17] If we go back to this slide, we have guidance coming into our higher self, into our heart.

[00:32:25] We can talk about soul and spirit. What happens, do you think, if you ignore your guidance for long periods of time, or choose to ignore it, or choose to reject the Source, God, then you dim your own light.

[00:32:46] And so not everyone, not all people have active spirituality, active light, if you like.

[00:32:55] Some of them are the opposite.

[00:33:01] But here’s you. I’ll put you at the front there, glowing brightly.

[00:33:07] You’re listening to this show, so it’s my hope that you are spiritual.

[00:33:15] So this is the picture.

[00:33:19] And then I’ve put one more person there, and they’re deep red.

[00:33:24] What do you think happens if someone spends a lot of time being angry or hateful or chooses to embrace that which is the opposite of light, that is darkness, then that said person would become. We could call it dark or evil or bad.

[00:33:45] There are other words. But keeping things simple now, whatever that person has exercised their free will and remember the stillness, the Source is always peace, stillness, neutrality.

[00:34:06] It’s not affected by what happens within this creation. So if something within this creation chooses to make itself bad or to be bad, so be it.

[00:34:22] That’s free will.

[00:34:25] So the picture is, as you can see, a little bit busier and a little bit more complicated. Not everyone is spiritually awake. And some have chosen to be the opposite of spirituality. And we’ll just call that badness.

[00:34:39] And we can say that because the opposite of spirituality is to go in the opposite direction from the. The Source. So away from love and away from all that is good.

[00:34:52] So I want you to do another exercise.

[00:34:58] This picture portrays life down here.

[00:35:03] So close your eyes if you like.

[00:35:07] Take a deep breath and relax.

[00:35:15] Now, what would it be like?

[00:35:26] Go back into that stillness, that space that was there before even the first spark, before the first moment.

[00:35:43] What we could say is go back to being the Source.

[00:35:49] And then from that space, from that place, from that perspective. Take a deep breath.

[00:35:57] Not that you would breathe when you’re one thing everywhere, but take a deep breath and start to observe the you that is listening.

[00:36:13] In your everyday life, observe as the Source. Observe yourself how you were today, interacting with others, events that came up, chapter challenges that you had to overcome.

[00:36:33] But don’t see it from your perspective.

[00:36:36] Be the Source.

[00:36:39] Neutral, accepting, perfectly still, peaceful.

[00:36:50] Just observing you today, the day before, right now.

[00:37:02] Notice what they would notice that’s different from what you can notice.

[00:37:23] Maybe you’ll notice how much love they have.

[00:37:31] We talk sometimes about the virtues, Humility, gratitude, respect, non judgment, compassion, unconditional love.

[00:37:49] Where do you think they came from?

[00:37:54] Just take another deep breath and notice how still it is, simply observing you instead of being you.

[00:38:22] Take another deep breath and just notice whatever you noticed, and hopefully you’re still with me. You’re still there. And you can continue to be still, but open your eyes if you haven’t done so already.

[00:38:47] It’s good to have you back.

[00:38:49] These are just exercises and you can listen back and do this another time if you want.

[00:38:55] But for now, if there’s anything you want to share, feel free to put it in the chat. But equally, I appreciate it that this is personal.

[00:39:07] And if you’re nice and still, then who wants to write anyway? But if you want to, I’ll share it with others.

[00:39:14] But there’s something else I want to share with you. Now let’s have a look at the history, the real history.

[00:39:28] Obviously this is going to be very abridged, maybe just picking out the key highlights, because there’s going to be a lot to cover, as you could imagine.

[00:39:43] We’ll start at the point where the Source is aware.

[00:39:49] And in the first exercise, that was the point. The first point.

[00:39:56] Then the Source radiates.

[00:40:00] Think about it. There is nothingness, just beingness.

[00:40:07] The Source creates reality. And we kind of went through that in the first exercise.

[00:40:15] Reality could be as simple as just that disc where yin and yang and all the different, different myriad of expressions start to come into manifestation.

[00:40:27] Or reality could be the totality of the cosmos and everything that you understand it to be.

[00:40:33] It can be as simple or as complex, but it’s exactly the same. There is no difference.

[00:40:42] And then the Source created humanity.

[00:40:47] The Source created humanity in its likeness, not in its visage, but in its likeness. The likeness of the qualities of goodness and Love.

[00:41:01] Now this is where it gets interesting. Now we’re coming to more recent times. The Source reveals truth and light into creation.

[00:41:13] Hmm, Maybe you’ve heard me say that to seek the truth is to seek God. So we could say to seek the truth is to seek the Source.

[00:41:24] If the Source is the cause of all that is, is there any greater truth?

[00:41:31] No.

[00:41:33] And I said the Source radiates.

[00:41:36] I use the word spark over earlier to give you a clue.

[00:41:41] Let there be light.

[00:41:44] But I’m not talking about some story in some book.

[00:41:48] I’m talking from spiritual experience of absolute states.

[00:41:56] So the Source reveals truth and light into creation.

[00:42:01] So you might naturally ask, reveals how and to whom?

[00:42:09] I’ve mentioned someone before.

[00:42:13] This is truly the first human who ever perceived the light of God.

[00:42:22] And since that time they have been misappropriated by certain religions and their legacy has been twisted.

[00:42:35] But the truth is the truth is the truth, and the truth will always come out.

[00:42:39] So the first human who ever perceived light, true light, the light of God, the revelation of it, was Krishna.

[00:42:55] So let’s have a look at the history.

[00:42:57] What comes next?

[00:42:59] Because this is well before 1 BC.

[00:43:05] Then source enters into life.

[00:43:10] So first the Source reveals the truth and light of the Source to a human in creation. Then the Source enters into creation, into life as a human and says, I am the Truth, the Way, and the life, and the legacy was. The Source guides you to realize the truth via the way.

[00:43:43] I did say it was a very abridged history. History.

[00:43:52] Notice what sits with you.

[00:43:58] But reality down here is never as simple.

[00:44:03] Remember those red people?

[00:44:06] Bad people.

[00:44:08] Isn’t it interesting?

[00:44:10] The Source creates reality.

[00:44:12] Badness destroys reality.

[00:44:17] What does Mark mean when he says badness destroys reality?

[00:44:22] I’ve talked elsewhere about certain groups and technologies that are disrespecting the very fabric of creation.

[00:44:33] An example would be cern, where they speed up particles and then smash them together, destroying them in the process.

[00:44:43] And what did they name the particles that they were looking for? They named it the God particle.

[00:44:48] That’s hubris.

[00:44:51] They’re tearing apart the fabric of space and time to try and find God, but not in a good way. That’s an example of badness destroying creation.

[00:45:07] But it could be. Another example would be someone who is angry and therefore damages your property out of spite and hatred. That’s another example of destroying creation or destroying what you have created out of your goodness.

[00:45:26] There’s lots of examples. You’ll come across the idea of as above, so below. So it could be a simple, trivial example in Everyday life. Or it could be a macrocosmic example.

[00:45:38] Another example is when a nuclear bomb is detonated, it literally destroys matter.

[00:45:45] It’s bad.

[00:45:47] So when we go back to this, the Source created reality and badness seeks to destroy reality.

[00:45:56] The Source created humanity and badness kills humanity.

[00:46:01] Think of all those people that push for war.

[00:46:06] No one, very few people want war. The only people that want war are bad people.

[00:46:13] And who will profit from it? Or it satisfies some desire of ego, revenge or some such thing.

[00:46:21] A good person will always push for peace.

[00:46:23] It is badness that seeks to kill humanity.

[00:46:27] And it’s not just war.

[00:46:30] What about if they are making a biological weapon and disguising it, or calling it medicine and giving it to people to kill, to maim, to sterilize. That’s another example of badness pertinent to the times that we live in.

[00:46:49] Why am I sharing this with you?

[00:46:54] Because we live down here.

[00:46:56] So isn’t it wise to be able to spot from the nature of something whether it is good, good meaning godly, of the Source, or whether it is bad against the Source, against what is good.

[00:47:16] So the Source creates reality and badness destroys reality. The Source created humanity and badness kills humanity. The Source reveals truth and light into creation, and badness brings deception and false light.

[00:47:32] How many false prophets, false teachers, false spiritual gurus.

[00:47:44] They’re not saying, seek the truth. They’re not saying, find God. They’re not saying, follow Jesus.

[00:47:52] Follow Jesus is the way. He is the Son of God.

[00:47:55] They’re saying, follow them.

[00:48:02] Badness brings deception and false light.

[00:48:06] Lucifer, the bringer of light, Statue of Liberty holding up false light, all kinds of connections.

[00:48:19] I don’t want to tell you.

[00:48:21] Look at this, look at that. I want to open your eyes so that you see it for yourself. Why? Because the truth, there’s the truth. There’s the truth. And to seek the truth is to seek God, the Source, all that is good.

[00:48:36] So bear with me a second.

[00:48:43] Let’s just see if I can.

[00:48:45] There we go.

[00:48:47] Stop that monitor from turning off.

[00:48:50] So the Source enters into life and badness deceives and distracts from the truth, the Way, and life.

[00:49:01] So the Source came into life, took on human form, and said, I am the Truth, the Way, and the life.

[00:49:08] Badness deceives you, tries to distract you from the truth, presents a false way and ultimately disrespects life.

[00:49:21] The Source guides you. Remember that picture of the arrow coming into your heart, guiding you, giving you guidance.

[00:49:29] The Source guides you to realize the truth via the Way. What is the way? The way was what Jesus taught.

[00:49:38] Badness guides you to accept deception via the ego.

[00:49:45] Interesting.

[00:49:47] So could we simply say that if you follow truth or if you follow Jesus teachings, and I don’t mean being religious at all, I don’t mean being Christian, I mean literally, what was Jesus trying to tell you?

[00:50:01] Experience a state of love, make God. Put God first, recognize the truth. Jesus was God.

[00:50:10] Follow his example, not follow a church or anything like that.

[00:50:16] If you walked the way, the way that Jesus extolled, then that is the difference from walking in ego.

[00:50:31] So badness can’t force your hand, but it can engage with your ego.

[00:50:39] And ego will covet that which is not good. And therefore you will buy the deception that is presented when you are in ego.

[00:50:50] It’s wonderfully simple. I’m trying to keep things simple.

[00:50:54] Hopefully you’re finding this useful.

[00:51:01] Okay, so what next?

[00:51:05] I’m going to hit you with some questions and I’m not going to give you the answers.

[00:51:09] I simply just want you to notice what comes up. And look, if you. If you come back to this in six months or a year, maybe something different will come up.

[00:51:19] But I don’t want you to answer from your head.

[00:51:24] Go back to the stillness.

[00:51:28] Remember that stillness, the great space that you were and you were observing from.

[00:51:36] Take a deep breath and relax.

[00:51:39] You can be more in your heart if it helps.

[00:51:43] The question is simply, what is the purpose of life within reality? You could say, within creation.

[00:51:57] What is the purpose of life within creation?

[00:52:03] Notice what comes up. Don’t think about it. Let the answer come to you.

[00:52:08] If you’re sincerely spiritual, you’ll have a knowingness about this.

[00:52:15] You don’t need to reason it or logic it. I’ll give you a clue. If you ever thought thinking too hard about things, trying to make sense of it all, then that’s not the way.

[00:52:28] What is the purpose of life within reality?

[00:52:38] Question is the purpose of life within reality.

[00:52:43] Is it so that the Source can experience reality through you?

[00:52:54] Or is it so that you can experience the Source?

[00:53:27] So right at the start I said I’d give some kind of a testimony.

[00:53:32] I don’t know what answers came up for you, but I hope that the answers help you.

[00:53:41] Spirituality is kind of personal in the sense that my journey doesn’t matter what I’ve achieved.

[00:53:49] That doesn’t change where you are. You have to change where you are through your own experience, through your own realizations and stuff.

[00:54:01] And that’s the beauty of it, is that what you realize is yours and cannot be taken away from you.

[00:54:09] But therefore, when we’re talking about it, the most congruent I can be with truth is to talk about what I’ve experienced or what I’ve come to understand what can’t be taken away from me.

[00:54:26] So for this last part of this live show, I just wanted to share some reflections on spirituality and life and what it means from my perspective.

[00:54:42] This might change.

[00:54:45] This is by no means a complete list either. This was just what I kind of brainstormed. Or not brainstormed, maybe Heart stormed, in a better way of putting it, earlier, a few hours before this show.

[00:54:59] Pardon me. So the first one was life has purpose.

[00:55:06] That’s important to me. I don’t know if that’s important to you, but to me it’s very important.

[00:55:12] And I think so many people try and find purpose in careers or in family or in children or in projects.

[00:55:20] And I get that.

[00:55:22] There’s nothing wrong with that. But all of those things can be taken away, and all of those things will come to an end.

[00:55:30] God can’t be taken away. The Source can’t be taken away. The States can’t be taken away, and they have no end.

[00:55:37] So that’s what I mean when I say life has purpose is the house I’m building is permanent.

[00:55:48] Life becomes selfless rather than selfish.

[00:55:54] I’m not here to put Mark first.

[00:56:00] Mark is here to serve the truth, whatever that means. I know what it means for me. What does it mean for you?

[00:56:12] So the more I put the truth first as best as I can and as best as I’m able, then it’s less about me.

[00:56:28] Selfish me, the ego, the desires, which is ultimately also driven by fear.

[00:56:36] It’s more about what is truth and being congruent with that.

[00:56:41] This one’s really important again to me.

[00:56:46] I recognize the gift that being human is.

[00:56:50] I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of people using the label human as some kind of derogatory label or excuse. I’m only human.

[00:57:06] Oh, well, you know, flawed human being or it’s the human condition. No, the truth of the matter is, is that the Source created humanity in its likeness with the potential to demonstrate the greatest qualities of goodness possible.

[00:57:28] Animals can’t do that.

[00:57:31] Other beings can’t do that.

[00:57:34] If there are other races, they can’t do it. Angels can’t do it. Nephilim can’t do it. Anunnaki can’t do it.

[00:57:45] I could go on.

[00:57:47] Whatever they’re called, they can’t do it. Only human beings can do it.

[00:57:57] Maybe that’s why we’ve been conditioned as humans to think that it’s to our detriment.

[00:58:06] You know why there’s a push for transhumanism, as if it’s something we need to escape. No, I recognize the gift that being human is, and I completely embrace it and would have it no other way.

[00:58:21] I no longer seek experiences, I seek state.

[00:58:28] And I’ll just leave that one in the air.

[00:58:31] You’ll get it or you’ll get it one day.

[00:58:37] And if you get it, it’s what you understand that’s of value to I value.

[00:58:47] I put and recognize in brackets. Really, I value truth more easily.

[00:58:54] The more you want the real truth rather than a sugar coated.

[00:59:00] See, a lot of people say they want the truth right up to the point where it butts up against one of their beliefs. And then they don’t really want to let go of what they believe. So they say, that’s enough truth for me.

[00:59:14] But the more you go, you know what Truth, truth, truth, that has to come first, it gets easier.

[00:59:22] And I value the truth. And as a result, the more you, it’s like a muscle, the more you really are willing to sacrifice your beliefs and your ideas and your expectations and your past in the pursuit of truth, then the easier it gets and the more you can recognize what is true and what is not true.

[00:59:42] This one’s interesting.

[00:59:45] I can more easily receive love and healing.

[00:59:50] True story. Someone.

[00:59:55] Someone’s partner wasn’t feeling very well recently and I was asked on their behalf if I could do some healing work. And he couldn’t get through.

[01:00:08] And it’s no fault of that person, but ultimately it’s their choice. But they don’t necessarily understand. But because they weren’t centered in love, they were centered in fear and worry about the particular illness that they had.

[01:00:31] Their being centered in fear and worry meant that they were not receptive to healing and love, at least not to the same extent as someone that is centered in truth and aligned with the Source, which means aligned with love.

[01:00:47] So if you are aligned with love, then you can receive love and healing goes hand in hand with that. If you are aligned with fear, then it is harder to receive love and healing because you yourself will block it because you’re not aligning with it.

[01:01:03] So the more spiritual you become, which means aligned with truth and the Source, then the more you can be a benefactor of the good qualities and radiances of the Source. Because all that is good comes from the Source.

[01:01:17] And that includes love and healing and commensurate with that is what I just discussed. So in my life there is a lot less fear in my life.

[01:01:27] I would like to say that there is no fear in my life, but I do catch myself occasionally and when I find myself dwelling on something that could engender fear, then I course correct as quickly as I can, but not in a fearful way, but just in a oh yeah, I’ve slipped into thinking about that in a fearful way. And I reframe and I bring truth to the forefront and I remind myself of what I know from my own experiences that can’t be taken away. And there is a lot less fear in my life.

[01:02:05] And I’m not scared of dying.

[01:02:07] I’m not scared at all of dying.

[01:02:10] Now don’t get me wrong, that doesn’t mean I want to write Rush into six Foot Down. Now. There’s work to do while I’m here. I want to fill my time constructively in service. Remember, second point. It becomes selfless rather than selfish.

[01:02:30] I want to do as much good as I can before my time is done. But when my time is done, I’m not scared at all of dying.

[01:02:41] This one’s interesting, and I’ll be completely candid. Those of you that know me, I’ve never married. I’ve never had kids.

[01:02:49] I spend a lot of time alone.

[01:02:52] And the point I made on the screen there is that I am not lonely.

[01:02:57] There is a saying, what a friend I have in Jesus.

[01:03:02] It isn’t just a saying.

[01:03:04] There’s something to it. But that’s something that people have to discover for themselves.

[01:03:09] All I am saying is I am not lonely and I’m not. Listen, figure this one out. I’m not burdened with having to understand something in order to value it.

[01:03:27] It’s the difference between the head and the heart, okay?

[01:03:33] If you have to understand something before you can value it, then you’re in your head. If you can value something, even if you don’t necessarily understand it, you’re in your heart.

[01:03:45] Tell me, can we really understand what love is?

[01:03:49] Can we really understand the true nature of the Source, God?

[01:03:55] Can we understand how God came into form and became Jesus?

[01:04:00] Do we need to understand these things before we can love Jesus? Before we can love God? Before we can love the Source, before we can love truth?

[01:04:14] Is understanding a prerequisite or is it a trap?

[01:04:23] So I am not burdened with having to understand something in order to value it, or indeed love it.

[01:04:31] Nothing has value.

[01:04:34] Everything has value.

[01:04:38] Again, I’m not going to explain that one just Sit with that for a moment.

[01:04:44] I’m sure you get it.

[01:04:49] Nothing has value.

[01:04:51] Everything has value.

[01:04:58] I am not the center of my existence. And what a relief that is.

[01:05:06] I think that kind of goes hand in hand with what I said earlier. There we go. I don’t seek experiences, I seek state.

[01:05:16] States like the state of peace or the state of stillness, not the experience of it. The state is immutable, it’s permanent.

[01:05:27] So my centre is not this.

[01:05:32] It’s state based.

[01:05:36] This is good.

[01:05:37] I don’t need books, churches, teachers, instructions, etc.

[01:05:45] I value them. There’s use in them, but I don’t need them.

[01:05:50] This goes back again to head versus heart.

[01:05:57] If your journey is up here, then you will need books and teachers and discussions and stuff. If your journey is here, then you’re being guided ultimately by the source via your higher self. And you will get what you need and understand when you’re ready.

[01:06:18] Because it’s the teacher within rather than the teachings from beyond, outside you from others.

[01:06:27] So I don’t need books, churches, teachers, instructions, etc.

[01:06:32] And what a relief it is to be in the world but not really touched by it.

[01:06:37] I’m just passing through what I really am.

[01:06:45] What you really are is not this physical body.

[01:06:56] All that you are down here is but the tip of the iceberg to what you truly are.

[01:07:02] You’re just passing through. It’s another day at school.

[01:07:07] You’re in the world. Don’t be touched by it.

[01:07:10] So that’s my kind of quick fire testimony to 43 plus years of exploring stuff. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. I might, I think if. Are there. Are there regrets?

[01:07:32] There’s a lot of mistakes I’ve made.

[01:07:34] There’s a lot of things. I look back and I’m like, what was I thinking?

[01:07:41] But I’m very happy where I am and I’m not standing still.

[01:07:47] There’s more letting go to do, there’s more change to embrace.

[01:07:52] It’s not a destination, it’s a journey.

[01:07:56] If I go back to, let me just find the.

[01:07:59] There’s a particular slide, there’s a clue in there.

[01:08:04] It’s not a journey, it’s not a. It’s not the destination.

[01:08:08] The more we are receptive to that guidance it’s coming in, the more we are transformed.

[01:08:18] Every, if you want to put it another way, every mistake and every misstep on this journey is because you weren’t listening.

[01:08:25] Same for me.

[01:08:30] But you can’t undo the past. All you have now is the future.

[01:08:35] And this very moment, right now.

[01:08:40] And look, this very moment right now is ten past seven.

[01:08:45] No, seven minutes past ten on a Thursday evening. It’s been a completely different show from what we normally do.

[01:08:55] I kind of knew that we’d be doing something like this a few days ago and normally I start in the mornings, but I wasn’t ready.

[01:09:06] Had to do a bit of kind of work on myself and then it all became clear what I was to do.

[01:09:15] So I hope you found this useful.

[01:09:18] It’s a bit different, a bit out there. That’s not a bad thing. Sometimes change and shaking things up and slowing things down and closing our eyes can be a good thing.

[01:09:29] I’d love to know how you found this. So please do leave comments.

[01:09:33] And as ever, in a few days I’m going to be doing a podcast version. I’ll share the screenshots of some of the stuff that we covered.

[01:09:41] But for now, thank you for joining me. Quite nice. I’ve got the.

[01:09:47] Don’t know if you can hear it, but I’ve got the background music playing and it’s nice and relaxing.

[01:09:55] But for now, keep making the right choices.

[01:10:01] And if you’re wondering why he says that, then there’s an episode on Good, Bad, Right and Wrong.

[01:10:06] You’ll find links to everything that I’ve referenced in the podcast. Write up in a few days, but for now, God bless you. Genuinely God bless you. Wherever you are, keep that bigger perspective.

[01:10:23] Remember, there’s something that loves you, that is watching you always and it’s not judging you.

[01:10:31] It’s quite, quite nice.

[01:10:33] It’s one reason why I am never lonely.

[01:10:36] God bless you. Have a, have a great rest of this evening and a great day tomorrow and peace be with you.

[01:11:31] Now notice what you notice when I ask you this question.

[01:11:38] What in this particular episode has been most useful?

[01:11:45] Now, who in your life at this particular time would benefit the most from knowing this too? Maybe it’s one person or maybe it’s more than one. But because sharing is caring, it’s really nice to know that you can actually share this show with them and therefore help.

[01:13:06] So God bless you. And remember, real change starts when we put into practice what we’re learning so that we go from thinking and doing to finally being.

[01:13:24] So take what you’ve learned today and keep on being the best version of you.

[01:13:30] God bless.
