Episode transcript:
[00:00:39] And as you know, each week I kind of react to your questions and also to world events and stuff.
[00:00:46] So though every episode has been spiritual, there hasn’t been an overarching plan like, start here, go here, and then end up here. And that’s what I tackle in this episode.
[00:00:59] How can we use all the different things that we’ve learned and put them in the right order so that we and those that we care about and love can actually make the most use of their time? Because, look, with 76 previous episodes, they’re all interesting, but are all of them the most relevant to someone that is starting out or the most helpful to someone that is perhaps quite a way along their journey? So I invite you to join me in this episode, and I want you to just keep in mind something.
[00:01:38] What’s the most important quality of character that any person can have when it comes to spirituality?
[00:01:50] And with that, I hope you enjoy this episode and do share it with others.
[00:01:58] It doesn’t have all the answers. That’s not the point. But it points them in the right direction. And it’s. It’s almost as if we’re going back to day one. Okay, who is this guy that is talking about spirituality? Why should we even listen to him?
[00:02:11] What exactly is he talking about and what does he mean by spirituality? And if it is something that is good, then how can I get the most out of it? How can I do it? How can I learn quickly, and how can I move on in my journey? If that sounds like useful stuff to you, then you’re in right place. God bless you.
[00:02:32] Good evening. This is Mark from the way back, and this is episode 77 of discussing spirituality, the Live Show. And I’m laughing because just as I started speaking, my collie dog got up and decided to have a big drink of water. And now he’s coming over to say hello. Hello, buddy. You come to join us?
[00:02:53] So yeah, it’s a bit of a different show tonight.
[00:02:58] We’re going to be. Well, this is the way back, and we’re actually going to kind of be going backwards a little bit. And I’ll. I’ll explain all just, just as soon as someone calms down and goes to bed. Go to bed. Good boy. Bed, bed.
[00:03:13] There you go.
[00:03:14] You just came over to say hello.
[00:03:17] So, yeah, we are here. It is the 18th of September, 2025. And the artwork for days actually showing all the thumbnails from season two. And it’s amazing how far into season two we are. I guess you can do the maths. And we, we started on episode 53. We’re now on 77. So we’ve done a few episodes and obviously we had season one before that.
[00:03:44] But that’s my whole point is if you’ve been following us from the beginning and everything makes sense and you know who I am and, you know, you kind of, you, you get the thread that’s weaving its way through these different episodes, but if you’ve just stumbled across this channel or my videos, and you’re kind of thinking, who is this guy? And what’s this all about? And so what I wanted to do today is really speak to that because the last, certainly some of the more recent episodes have been really profound.
[00:04:21] And, you know, I’m not. Not kind of tooting my own horn or anything. It’s just, you know, this stuff comes through me, not from me. And so I’ve kind of looked back and gone, wow.
[00:04:33] And then I’ve looked back at my own journey to who I was 20, 30 years ago and thought, if only, if only there’d been some kind of a.
[00:04:41] Well, these resources, but also some kind of a roadmap and where the live show is being quite responsive. In other words, it’s responding to what questions you’ve been asking. It’s been responding to what’s been coming up the week with the different people that I teach, then things are coming up that need to come up, but they’re not necessarily in a useful order. And so the goal for today is to say, well, look, is there some kind of roadmap that if someone was starting right now on their spiritual journey, or maybe they’re already on their journey, but they’ve stumbled across the way back. They stumbled across this live show.
[00:05:18] Start here, then go here, then do this, then look at this.
[00:05:22] A map to help them spiritually grow. And also that means that if you want to help someone in their own journey, where do you start? What do you point them out first? That kind of thing. So we’re addressing these questions, and in so doing, I am going to kind of go back and revisit some of these, but only so much as to point people in the right direction.
[00:05:47] So hopefully you get where I’m coming from, all will become clear.
[00:05:52] And as ever, it is a live show. And that means that if you’ve got any questions, just put question mark, question mark, question mark. I’ll kind of show you what I mean here. So if you do question mark, question mark, question mark, and then write out your question, you know, in the chat, then that will stand out, and I’ll either address it as they come or I’ll save the questions till the very end, because we’re going to be going back, but I’m sure that it’s going to be useful for how we go forwards. We being all you, me, us spiritual people who want to make the world a better place and also who want to, importantly, spiritually grow.
[00:06:35] So if I look at what we’re actually going to cover today, obviously the goal is to do a roadmap to spiritual growth. Is there such a thing? And if so, how?
[00:06:46] What would I propose?
[00:06:49] But, you know, let’s take a real step back, because as I said, if you’re someone new, you don’t know me, you haven’t been following my work, you haven’t been taught by me personally, then why should we listen to this guy, really? You know, and that is a really important question to ask.
[00:07:04] I took a lot on faith on various people in the past just because someone recommended them. And I wish I’d maybe dug a bit deeper or understood a bit more wisely before listening. And so, yeah, I don’t expect people to just listen without having some kind of context. It’s wise to want to know a little bit more.
[00:07:24] And I’d also ask the question, well, what is this guy teaching? Because, you know, the way back has been going for quite a few years now. There’s a absolute plethora of podcasts and articles and books and videos and things. So what is he teaching? But I’m not going to give you the answer. The truth, the answer is going to come out of the evidence, if that makes sense.
[00:07:47] So although the goal is to do the roadmap, I think the wise place to start is, well, why should we listen to this guy? You know? And this takes us right back to one of the first episodes. I managed to find this screenshot, and it’s, who is Mark Zaretti? Which is me, might as well be who is Bob Smith?
[00:08:06] And this was going back to 19th of March 2024. So a lot of water has been under the bridge in that time. But back then this was a story so far.
[00:08:17] And I’ll, I’ll, I’ll very quickly go through this if someone wants to dig a bit deeper, go back to the original episodes, the very first few episodes, and you’ll find a lot more context and information.
[00:08:27] But I was born in Kent in 1974, grew up in Broadstairs, a lovely little seaside town. And in 1981 I started meditating and exploring spiritual stuff. But as I said, as I explained previously, no books, no Internet existed back then. I wasn’t taught by anyone, it was just purely intuitive. I didn’t even know the word meditation, to be honest. But that’s my earliest memories of, of consciously closing my eyes, going inside and doing stuff.
[00:08:55] 1993. So jumping forwards a few years, I went to University of Manchester to study biology. And in 1997 I reconnected with someone I’d met in 1993 and was introduced via them to light and sound meditation.
[00:09:10] And then in 1998 I started teaching and later received what is known as initiation. And that is the process by which you gain access to light and sound meditation.
[00:09:20] And when I started teaching, I was teaching alongside other teachers of that particular group that I come across.
[00:09:27] But eventually I was teaching independently as well. And around that time I was also reading for my Masters in Bioinformatics again at the University of Manchester Stopford Building.
[00:09:38] 2001, I relocated to Kent to work at Pfizer and I was in discovery research informatics. And then I moved to the IT department and I was in Warnick City to begin with, which is on the left hand side as you came down the road. But I eventually moved into Building 500. And I’m giving all of this because it’s context and people who know those places will go, oh yeah, okay, we know what he’s talking about. Building 500 was next to Building 519 and you had the link bridge between them. 2005, I quit Pfizer and I set up my IT company in 2009. I, quote, unquote, attained enlightenment. And that was in Leeds. And I say quote unquote because it’s a word that gets banded around a lot. And again, I’m trying to give as much context to who I am, but just because someone says they attained enlightenment, I guess you have to understand what that means and also you have to just Trust it blindly. That’s something I’m going to be saying throughout. And I expect that of you towards me as much as to anyone else, because a lot of the problems in the world are because people maybe trust a bit blindly. Just because someone says they are something it doesn’t mean now. And I’ll give you a very, very quick story. So years and years ago, one of the people that joined one of the groups I was teaching was quite an older guy, and I won’t name names, but it turns out he joined because he fancied one of the ladies on the course and he was trying to impress. He wasn’t really spiritual. And eventually that all came out in the wash and there was no real spirituality in him. A few years later, I bumped into him and just politely said, oh, how are you doing? And he said, oh, brilliant. I found this guy in London who’s taught me how to act enlightened because he got. He got into the spiritual stuff enough to realize that it was a good way of charming. Unfortunately for him, he saw it as a way of charming.
[00:11:31] And so he said, yeah, and I’ve had some lessons and this guy’s taught me how to act enlightened. And I’m meeting all kinds of lovely people and I’m like, so you’re deceiving them, you know, and he. He was very dismissive. And, no, it’s just a way of chatting up women. And obviously that was the last time I ever had anything to do with that person. But it really stuck with me how he’s going around saying he’s enlightened and acting all enlightened and people are falling for it, and he’d been taught by someone else how to do it and paid money to be taught how to do it. So there’s obviously a bit of an industry out there of people being charlatans. And so you should really make that assumption.
[00:12:09] Well, you shouldn’t do anything. One of the things I’m. I always crack myself when I say, should I simply provide guidance and you decide what you want to follow. But I’m just highlighting it that it would be foolish to trust everyone just because they say something. But importantly, I.
[00:12:26] I attained enlightenment.
[00:12:28] It wasn’t on my own.
[00:12:30] There were witnesses. There were people that knew I was going to do it. There were people that confirmed it had been done. There were people 300 miles away that realized something had happened the moment it happened and contacted other people around the planet to confirm whether or not something had happened spiritually. So there was kind of A few people who were also aware of what was going on. And that was quite nice. And then 2011, this is where I started to become a bit more public. I was interviewed by Natural Health magazine about meditation and light and sound. And let’s go back to the screen and 2013.
[00:13:11] So by now I’m enlightened and I’m still teaching. But I left that particular group because there were.
[00:13:20] I didn’t see that there was kindness and love being demonstrated all the way through.
[00:13:24] And I thought, this is a bit incongruent, I can’t really be a part of this.
[00:13:29] And so then I started making YouTube videos about light and sound, meditation and meditation in general. Moved to Italy to a place called Damaso. And then later on I moved to Tivoli, well, near Tivoli. And that was a lovely period in time and then.
[00:13:47] But it was also necessary because I had to just get away and find myself a little bit in terms of get away from people that were maybe polarizing things from a spiritual point of view.
[00:14:00] I’ve talked about all this stuff before, but I’m just trying to get us up to speed. And while I was out in Italy, I did a lot more meditation. I became a lot more.
[00:14:09] I was out there on my own. I became a lot more self independent as a spiritual person. And that’s when I started to make contact with what some people refer to as ascended masters, but basically I’d refer to as human teachers that have got to a certain point spiritually, they don’t need to come back anymore and they now guide a few people.
[00:14:31] Okay. And one of the guidance I got was to come back to Kent, to UK and to wind down my IT business. Now just a bit of context there. I was in the process of trying to find a farm in Italy to buy with a farmhouse to set up a retire retreat. I was in a position to do so. So my plan was definitely not to come back to Kent where I grew up, definitely not to come back to England. But I trusted the guidance and it was the right thing to do. So sometimes there’s what we want and then there’s what the right thing to do is. Anyway, I found myself back in England and I started writing articles, podcasts and created my first book in 2016, Guidance for the Seeker of Truth.
[00:15:14] And here’s one of the original copies of that. So you can see this book here, Guidance for the Seeker of Truth.
[00:15:23] And I’ve talked about this elsewhere, but that was my first full publication. I had actually contributed previously to a Chapter in another book on spirituality a few years before.
[00:15:37] Okay, 2018, co founded the way back, a not for profit group to share spiritual stuff and to run courses and things like that. And then in 2019, I kind of. That’s when I had my full spiritual calling and retired from mainstream work to dedicate full time to doing this kind of work that’s on the screen there and then down the right hand side you can pause and look, but that’s as of 19th of March 2024, how many videos and articles and things like that? So you can add a few numbers onto the end. But back then, 26 years of teaching, four books published, three podcast series, I think there’s five or six now.
[00:16:18] One BBC radio appearance, one Natural Health magazine interview and over 12,000 hours of meditation at that time.
[00:16:25] So all of that is provided simply to say or simply to answer the question of why should you listen to this guy on anything to do with spirituality or meditation or you know, that side of things. And the simple answer is he’s had some experience and he’s been sharing it for many, many years.
[00:16:45] And importantly, I just wanted to add to that. So what I’m showing on the screen now, my values and approach as a teacher. So I do not charge for spirituality. The group that I left you paid £25amonth for the privilege of belonging to that group.
[00:17:04] Everything spiritual. So I do not charge for spirituality, everything spiritual. Except physical books which are not for profit are free. So that’s poorly worded sentence but basically, unfortunately the books have to be paid for because publishing and printing and everything. But they’re priced not for profit. And I’ve said elsewhere, the profit from the books doesn’t go to me, it goes to the way back to fund the various things that are needed like hosting the email, hosting the podcast, hosting the website that all costs money. So the books go towards that.
[00:17:36] I don’t make any claims to have all the answers and I don’t want anyone to believe anything I and I put brackets or others experience trance belief. This is one of the cores of what I teach is that I’m teaching to promote or to provoke or to assist you to have spiritual experiences for yourself. So I’ll say stuff, but I don’t want people ever to believe it. I want them to be motivated by what I say, but to don’t just sit at the belief level, but to go on and actually find out for yourself. So if I say for example that there is inner stillness, don’t just believe it, find out for yourself. Because the only thing that has value is what you know from your own direct experience. And that’s really at the heart of how I teach and what I teach. So I don’t want anyone to believe anything I say, but equally, I don’t want anyone to believe what others say. I want people to be their own authority spiritually and experience Trump’s belief.
[00:18:35] I encourage personal responsibility and avoid giving direct guidance as much as possible. I made them, you know, I learned the hard way with this one. And the best way to help people is not to tell them what to do. It’s to present the choices and guide them so they can formulate their own wisdom and their own agency, spiritually speaking.
[00:19:01] And the reason why I bring it up is because classically, someone who was considered a spiritual teacher would often give advice like to do with relationships or health or wealth or well being or careers. And it’s like, no, that’s not what I’m here for. I’m here to help you tune into your own inner guidance so that you can know what the right thing to do is from your own guidance, your own intuition, your own sensibilities.
[00:19:29] And I’m not here to tell you what you should do. In other words, don’t abdicate responsibility, you know, because my whole thing is about empowering you and making you more spiritually responsible for yourself and therefore more empowered. But I wanted to write that down and make it clear because that is one of the things that distinguishes my approach from the approach of others.
[00:19:53] Some others, anyway. So I encourage personal responsibility and avoid giving direct guidance as much as possible. All that is good is through me, not from me.
[00:20:03] I keep that always in my heart. So I do healing work. It doesn’t come from me, it comes from through me. When I have in the past revealed light and sound energy, it came through me, not from me and etc. So I’m very much that is important to me and informs how I teach.
[00:20:25] And similarly, I am just a signpost to Jesus and God the source.
[00:20:32] You know, when I. And again, look, if this is your first time on this show, and he’s just said the G word, he’s just said God and he’s just mentioned Jesus. Are we talking religion? No, earlier I said belief.
[00:20:48] Experience trumps belief. So there’s a really simple way of understanding this. You can believe what you want and that is what religion is.
[00:20:55] But experience is spirituality, belief is religion. So, for example, you can believe that there was a person called Jesus, and you can believe that Jesus was a savior or is The Savior.
[00:21:11] Believing that doesn’t really change anything. But when you have experience of letting Jesus into your life and having a deep love for Jesus and feeling that connection to Jesus that isn’t intellectual and can’t be taken away from you because you’ve actually experienced it, that is experiential, that is spiritual.
[00:21:31] The belief that motivated you to get that far was religion.
[00:21:36] And so religion is religion and belief is belief. I’m sorry, religion is religion and spirituality is spirituality. And just to explain, you can have someone that is spiritual and you can have someone that is religious, and they’re not the same thing, and you can have someone that is spiritual and religious, and you can have someone that is spiritual and not religious, etc. So they’re two completely different things. One is belief, one is experience.
[00:21:59] And that again is actually at the core of having teach. What I teach is understanding the difference between belief and experience. And my goal or my role is to try and help you have spiritual experiences and not just feed spiritual beliefs. In fact, I want you to challenge your beliefs and we may even talk about that in a little bit on that roadmap that’s coming. So I know I’m still human and I make mistakes like everyone, and I admit my mistakes. And a classic example is that though this book was where are We? Though this book was accurately channeled from the individuals on higher dimensions because it says there channel teachings from higher dimensions, I found out more information years later about that particular group on higher dimensions and could no longer endorse what they were proposing and teaching and where they were coming from. And so I pulled the book from publication, which is, if you’re an author, that’s not what you want to do. But it was more important to put truth first and to admit that I had been led astray slightly by them. And therefore I no longer felt comfortable having that book out there. And so that’s just a good example of I will admit my mistakes. And I think it’s really important to acknowledge that, that we’re, you know, still human, will make mistakes. And if I made mistakes, I will admit it. And so that is who I am.
[00:23:31] And I would hope, but it’s entirely up to you. I would hope that that would give people more of an understanding of what to expect from me as a teacher and as a spiritual guide and an author, but also perhaps more confidence because, you know, I’m not claiming to have all the answers, but I will share everything that I can to help you.
[00:23:52] Anyway, that ticks for now, the box of who is this guy? Why should we listen to him? You know, and obviously the big strap line is, you know, published author, podcast videographer, filmmaker and teacher with many years of experience and many thousands of hours of spiritual experience, importantly. So I’ve walked the walk and I’m doing my best to help you to walk the walk as well, whatever that means. And it’s not just about meditation and we will come to understand that later on.
[00:24:27] So if we go back to the slides, then what is he teaching? This is where it gets quite interesting.
[00:24:34] So bear with me a sec because I put together some stuff. There we go.
[00:24:39] Now, I do not expect you to be able to read everything on the screen. It’s hard enough for me and I’m sitting a few foot away from the screen.
[00:24:47] But what I did, and perhaps it would make more sense to start with a different picture.
[00:24:54] So let me just see if I can find that. Yeah, so what I did is I reviewed all of the videos that we’ve done and I’m just scrolling through some of them on the screen now. So all of the season two videos.
[00:25:09] So that’s going back to episode 53 actually, but I can probably filter out those. So, yeah, all of these basically going back to this one.
[00:25:24] I’ll grab my little pointer and point at it. So that’s the start of season two, episode 53.
[00:25:30] And the point being when I do these videos, then I tag them with keywords. So it might be Jesus or love or peace or whatever.
[00:25:43] And those keywords will represent the core stuff that was covered in those particular live shows.
[00:25:53] Not everything.
[00:25:54] So what it mean, you know, by that? I mean that in each episode we probably cover a lot more. But what were the core topics that were covered? And so across the top here we’ve got the different keywords that have come up for those episodes from episode 53 through to 76. And down the left hand side we’ve got the different episodes and their titles.
[00:26:16] And what I’ll probably do is I’ll probably try and make this into a PDF and I’ll share it via a link on the website. So if you were interested, because it’s quite a good way of looking up and buy that. For example, if you’re interested in.
[00:26:29] Let’s just find an example numerology. So there’s numerology there.
[00:26:34] If I highlight that row, you can see that it comes up in episode 55 and probably that’s the only place it only comes up once. Whereas if we look at, for example, I don’t know, higher Self then that comes up in episode 61, 62 and so on. 73, 75.
[00:26:54] So it’s quite a good lookup table for just finding stuff. But in fairness, just go to the website and type in higher self in the search box and you’ll get all the episodes. That’s the easier way.
[00:27:03] But what I wanted to do is rather than me kind of formulate a well structured this is what I teach.
[00:27:11] I wanted to look at what have I been teaching in season two. So this is going back to episode 53. What have I actually been teaching? And that’s what I meant when I said the kind of the evidence will dictate the answer earlier because that’s real.
[00:27:27] I could explain that I’m kind of teaching about Jesus’s the Way from a spiritual point of view and that will conjure up all kinds of ideas. But I wanted to actually be completely transparent and completely honest and say okay, based on what the last however many. 23, 25, whatever it is episodes. These are the topics that’s come up. And so if we go back to the screen and I click on the topics, I’ve simplified it. So let’s just make that a little bit bigger if we can do. There we go. So what I’ve done is there’s stuff that I encourage. That’s the first row and there’s stuff I caution against. And then the count is how many times that keyword like Jesus has come up in different episodes.
[00:28:13] So what this is showing us. And then I’ve ordered everything by the.
[00:28:18] By the keyword count. So Jesus has come up in 13 episodes, God has come up in nine, spirituality in eight and so on and so forth. So on the right hand side and I’ll grab my little pointer. So oops. I would if I can get hold of it. There we go.
[00:28:35] Right. So on the left hand side we’ve got stuff in red that stuff that I caution against. So in my teachings and my work I will talk about the ego and the problems of the ego and the problems of fear and the problems of science.
[00:28:48] And then on the plus side stuff that I promote and encourage and, and encourage people to explore them. And this is all from a spiritual perspective. We’ve got Jesus, God, spirituality, higher self, free will, thought and Bible comes in. And that’s, that’s in order. So what’s the most popular thing that I’m talking about through to the more fringe.
[00:29:13] And again not religion but, but it’s interesting because quite often we might bring in a Bible verse to look at so we’re describing like an actual example from season one was someone who was asking about did they understand that understand about soul and spirit in ancient days. And I said, well, let’s have a look at what the Bible says. And we found examples of them talking about soul and spirit 2000 years ago.
[00:29:39] So sometimes we’ll talk, we’ll use the Bible to look back in time at what was understood in the past, for example, or look at prophecies and how they relate to today.
[00:29:50] So down the left hand side you can see the same information. And we got as far as Bible fair and science and thought, but we also cover things like the brain, spirit, six virtues, AI. So I’m caution against AI talk about demons, dreams, grace, heart, humility, initiation, even the Pope. And then there’s a whole load of other stuff that we have covered, but this is stuff that’s only come up once, so in one topic. And that’s the beautiful thing about the live show is the live show is driven by you.
[00:30:24] So that list I’ve just showed you, you know, if you want to know why we’re talking about these things, it’s because you asked.
[00:30:31] Okay, but my job is to take your questions or take what’s going on in life and put spiritual spin on it so that A, we can make sense of life, but B, we can gain from it spiritually. That is always the goal.
[00:30:45] And so that’s where these various things have come from, is from your questions and real life experiences that are going on. You know, for example, last week we touched on the assassination of Charlie Kirk. That’s a real life thing. That’s, that’s real and happened and how can we make the world a better place came out of it, which was a very, I think, a very strong spiritual stance to take rather than going into emotions and things like that.
[00:31:15] So to sum up, well, what is this guy currently teaching? And for the last half a year, he’s been talking about Jesus and God and spirituality and higher self and free will and thoughts and how that affects everything in the Bible and ego and fear and science. And you could put all of that in the bucket of. He’s trying to help you to spiritually experience the truth and to seek the truth and to find the truth through experience.
[00:31:42] So that brings us to this point where now you know a little bit more about me or my journey and where I’ve come from and you know, a little bit more about the kind of what is it that he’s actually doing? What is he teaching now? It’s not exhaustive. And I would, I would say the big headlines of what I teach are echoed on the website. And you’ve got basically about love, about the six virtues, about spirituality, not meditation. Although there is some meditation on the website. It’s not necessary to be spiritual.
[00:32:15] And ultimately it’s about Jesus and God and your experiential truth based relationship with them. Nothing to do with religion. In fact, I may have updated the website since. But for a long time the opening sentence on the website was, could it be that God and Jesus, you know, that God doesn’t belong to religion, you know, which is a good starting question because what came first, God or religion? Okay, I’m not down on religion. A lot of people get a lot from it. But as I said, it’s just belief.
[00:32:46] It hasn’t led to experience. If you just sit in the realm of belief and what I’m trying to say is you, you’re a spiritual human being. You deserve more than just belief. Belief is what gets you out of bed. What are you going to do once you’re out of bed? Have the experience. That’s where we’re going with this.
[00:33:03] So talking of having the experience, then, is there some kind of a roadmap that can allow us to have the experience? That is the wise question and let me just find out the answer to that. So is there a roadmap to spiritual growth? Spiritual growth means that you are fulfilling the spiritual side of life. And you know, people talk about mind, body and spirit. We take care of our mind, you know, best we can. We take care of our body best we can. But most people are just overlooking the spiritual side. Not you, hopefully. If you’re here joining me now, whether you’re live or listening again, then you’re on this journey, the one about spiritual growth as well. Oops, that was my coaster just falling off the bottom of my glass of water. Please bear with me for a moment. Thank you. That was much needed. So is there a roadmap to spiritual growth? Is the very good question. And what I’ve done is I’ve taken a quite a neutral step back and looked at all of the videos, looked at all of the live show episodes, which aren’t just videos, by the way. There’s a, there’s a podcast and extra, extra artwork and things like that.
[00:34:16] And by the way, in that long table where I had all the keywords for every single episode, I also kept note of which podcasts had bonus extra material. Because when I do the live show, sometimes in the podcast, I do an extra 5, 10, 15 minutes of discussion or added information to concretize maybe a point that was made or to add a new point.
[00:34:42] And six of the episodes in that, in that set have had extra information, sometimes 15 minutes, 10 minutes.
[00:34:49] And so there’s probably a good hour or so more that if you’ve only watched the live show, you may have missed. So it’s definitely worth checking out the podcast as well, because quite often I also, if there’s maybe a complex image or something, I’ll elaborate on it and put the kind of enhanced version on there as well. So you might get extra resources from the podcasts. But the goal right now is. Okay, Mark, you’ve done all these videos in season two. Is there actually a useful roadmap that we can follow? Where should someone start?
[00:35:23] And where should someone start?
[00:35:25] Well, they can start where they want and they might be drawn to something. But if you wanted to say, look, a good starting place is start with episode 72.
[00:35:37] Now, episode 72 is the one where we talk about what is spirituality. We talk about free will and we talk about how to be spiritual. So that’s why it’s a good, good starting point. And it’s titled Right and Wrong, Good and Bad.
[00:35:50] And I wanted to.
[00:35:52] What I’m going to do now is I’m going to just pick out one or two key parts from each of the episodes I’m going to show you just to remind us what we’ve done. And if this is all new to you, just to kind of wet your appetite, I’m not. My goal is not to explain it.
[00:36:05] You know, it took, it took that episode to explain it, but merely to act as an aid memoir for those that have already seen it and act as a kind of like a. Hey, if you want to know more about this, go check out episode 72. So the crux of it comes down to you have vibration. The higher your vibration, the more spiritual you are. The lower your vibration, the more on spiritual you are. And that’s not a good thing. So this is a vibration scale on the left hand side. And then this is you going through life. And so that X axis is time. And we could say this is the entire life that you have if you wanted to. And at every point, sometimes you go up because you make good choices or right choices. And sometimes you go down because you make wrong choices. And that’s what right and wrong are showing here. So anytime where this person is right now on this, on this graph, on this trajectory through life, they have a choice that’s what the question mark means. And if they make the wrong choice, then their vibration drops. You can see if they make the right choice, then their vibration raises. And so a right choice raises your vibration and that is good. A wrong choice drops your vibration and that is bad. And what this was introducing is where the true meaning of good, bad, right and wrong come from. So the choice can be right or wrong and the outcome can be good or bad. And good means moving up, bad means moving down.
[00:37:36] And there’s more to this in terms of your relationship to God. And what’s shown here is a second question mark. So just highlighting that there’s choices all the time. So even if you make the wrong choice, there’s always a chance later on to make a right choice and start moving back up. But you’ve still dropped because of the wrong choice you made. So you’ve got to do more work to get back just to where you were.
[00:37:59] And it’s the take home from a spiritual point of view is it’s your free will that allows you to make choices. And the outcome of your choices either raise your vibration or drop it. And the right choice is always the one that’s more spiritual and it moves you closer to God. And the wrong choice is the one that’s not very spiritual and is normally to do with ego, whatever that means. Because we’ll, we’ll come to that.
[00:38:25] So that’s a good starting point. It’s quite a, quite a.
[00:38:29] Well, all of these are quite heavy. As in, as in, you’re gonna have to think, you’re gonna have to understand, but not in a bad way. I mean, that’s never a bad thing. It’s explaining the fundamentals of life from a spiritual perspective. And most people are asleep, so they don’t even realize that they’re exercising free will. And if you’re asleep, you can’t really make a choice. So most people are on autopilot and they’re probably just either not really growing or potentially going in the wrong direction. So wouldn’t you like to know if that you have the potential and B, what to do about it. That’s what this episode is all about. So we start with episode 72 and then that I would say that leads nicely onto episode 73. And it’s just by chance that those two came back to back.
[00:39:17] It generally it wasn’t planning, it’s just that those topics just happened to follow each other. So episode 73.
[00:39:24] So now we understand that we have a purpose in life spiritually, which is we can make right choices and raise our vibration, which is good, or do the opposite, then, well, what is it about us that’s doing that? So we look at mind, body, spirit and emotions. Now, most people talk about mind, body and spirit. No one’s really talking about emotions in this context. And so there was quite a lot in that episode. Fascinating stuff, really.
[00:39:52] And so kind of working clockwise from top left, if I just grab my little pointer, then we’ve got the first.
[00:40:00] And these aren’t all the slides from that episode, by the way. I just cherry picked a few key ones. So we talk about the difference between emotions, body, mind and spirit, and where the seat of our personal identity sits, which is the kind of intersection between emotions, mind and body, and how spirit is slightly off to one side because it’s a bit different. And the bridge between mind and spirit is the choices that you make, which goes back to the previous episode where we said that basically free will and choices is how you grow. So if you’re not making choices, there’s no engagement between your personality and your spirit.
[00:40:42] And then, rather shockingly, we looked at what is the average person’s kind of focus in terms of when they are awake, and I mean awaken, not just awake out of bed, but the potential to make a choice. Where are they coming from? And what this shows us is that most of the time they’re coming from mind. Too much thinking going on. Some of the time they’re coming from emotions, which is this big red splodge.
[00:41:13] Then the next biggest draw of their attention is the kind of chocolate brown slod splodge or slice of this pie, which is the body. So mind is dominant, then emotions and then body, and then spirit gets just 3%, which is quite shocking. And obviously from a spiritual point of view, that’s not great. And so we talk about how long thoughts last, how long emotions last, how long your body lasts. So we’re talking about seconds, minutes to days, approximately 85 years. And then your spirit, which could potentially even be as eternal.
[00:41:52] And yet it’s the complete opposite of how we give our attention. So the thing that lasts the longest, the thing that is most important, our spirit gets the least amount of attention, and the thing that is most transient gets the most attention. So this was a real eye opener, I think, for a lot of people. And then we talked about emotions.
[00:42:13] And most of what people think are emotions aren’t even emotions.
[00:42:17] In fact, there was quite a surprising revelation.
[00:42:21] And if you look at this kind of the bottom, right, then there’s this Dotted line. And everything below that dotted line is coming from ego, whatever that is.
[00:42:32] And it’s all of the negative emotions of shame, fear, humiliation, disgust, hate and sadness. And by the way, this was based on scientific papers and analysis. This isn’t just me saying this. This is actually a big study that was done. And then all the stuff that they talked about, positive emotions have nothing to do with emotions whatsoever. Joy, compassion, and hope. These are spiritual things.
[00:42:55] So one end of the scale towards love, we’ve got spiritual stuff. And at the other end of the scale, we’ve got emotions. And it raised the question, are there any actual good emotions?
[00:43:05] Now, again, I’ve just summarized a very important episode. And that’s the point of this episode is just to give you an overview. But I would.
[00:43:15] For each of these, the point of the roadmap is, if you haven’t already looked at them, then this is the order that I would be looking at them. So I’d start with episode 72. What is spirituality? Free will, the good, bad, right and wrong one. Then I’d go to the mind, body, spirit and emotions 1. And then once that’s understood, then I’d look at how can we be closer to God? Now, this was a really beautiful episode. So we’re jumping Back to episode 59 now so you can see the order. This is why I wanted to roadmap it out.
[00:43:49] So practical ways to be more spiritual. And this was a little bit of pre. Kind of. Let me explain this one. So this was. I spoke with nine people who were all very, very spiritual. I’ve known most of them for a very, very long time. And they’re all grown through some of them through the teachings of the way back and working with me. But many of them have years of experience even before they’d come along to know me. And, you know, I’ve learned from them as well. And we had a bit of a sit down and I said, okay, what do you actually do as a spiritual person to be closer to God? Because ultimately, the answer is there’s nothing you can really do. It’s not doing thing, it’s a being thing. But it did transpire that there are practical things that you can do.
[00:44:46] Now, if I said to you, hey, all right, do you want to pick the brains of nine people that have all attained amazing states of awareness and have a really close connection to God and Jesus and are totally loving their spiritual journey, do you want to know what they do that helps?
[00:45:02] You’d be a fool to say no, wouldn’t you? You know, I was curious. I wanted to know as well, for my own. For my own journey, for my own benefit. And so these people kindly gave their time and we discussed it for a few hours and that became the episode 59. And so episode 59 in. And I’ll go straight to the summary. These were the things that the people did, and I’ll leave it up on the screen, but I’ll just cherry pick a few. So expressing gratitude to God, part of the morning routine. Bless others, pray. So that means making spirituality part of their morning routine. Pray. Now they’re not religious. None of them are religious.
[00:45:44] A lot of them were religious, but they’ve gone beyond belief and now they’re actually experientially based, but they still pray. Some of them read the Bible or gospels or listen to them.
[00:45:56] Some of them do things like worshiping God, free singing, sit in stillness with God, acknowledge God, listen to podcasts that are supportive.
[00:46:08] You can see there’s a lot of them. But put God’s will before my own.
[00:46:13] Ask for help, focus on the six virtues. So that’s one of the things based on one of the books that I was given, if that makes sense. It came through me, not from me.
[00:46:27] Communicate with other spiritual people, check in with myself to ensure I’m aligned, remind myself that Jesus is watching, and ask myself, have I made the best use of today? Now, it’s very easy to kind of gloss over that and go, yeah, I’ve got it. Understood. I’d watch that episode because it’s actually a lot deeper and some of those things warrant a bit more explanation.
[00:46:50] But if you just got something from that list, Fantastic. Then you’ve got something from this episode which is wonderful. And it’s one step in the roadmap. So if you look at it, what is spirituality, then? Understanding the nuts and bolts of who you are, mind, body, spirit, emotions, and then being practical about it. And now we learn more about being in state. That’s the next episode that I would recommend. And that would be number 61.
[00:47:17] What does he mean by being in state? Exactly.
[00:47:21] So that’s what episode 61 shares. And I will share this with you now.
[00:47:29] It’s only about two minutes long and I’ll speed it up and I’ll try and narrate it. But this video is a small part of that episode where I talk about being in state.
[00:47:40] And the more in state you can be, the better. But this is just a typical person and it’s showing us that they’ve got a brain and the conscious mind Thinking side is there and that’s at odds. Or as opposed to, let’s just speed up a little bit. That’s opposed to the spiritual side, which is the soul and spirit, which are within the heart.
[00:48:07] And that’s what’s being shown there.
[00:48:09] And then this is the alignment meter. So the more aligned you are, the more your heart, your soul and spirit shine through and more you’re guided by them or receptive to them. And obviously you could be super aligned. And then your personality starts to fade because you’re not centered in ego and self, you’re centered in soul and love and stuff. Now what this has shown us is throughout the day, there can be periods where you’re more aligned than others. That’s what that is doing. And then someone who’s negative can drop your alignment because they pull you fall out of state. And then you can go back into alignment.
[00:48:42] And so if we plotted the amount of alignment over a day, then you’ll see that there’s spikes of alignment. And that might be when you do your morning routine and pray and listen to some songs. And then you can go all day and you forget to be in alignment. Most times when you are higher in your alignment, you are in state, as in, in your spiritual state as opposed to in ego or in personality.
[00:49:05] And so the goal is, oh, there’s a little bit more. And it’s saying it’s your choice, do you want to be good? And that means being aligned and in state and spiritual or because it’s a choice, let’s see what it’s going to do. It goes red, which means anger and ego and things like that. And that means bad. So going back to the original, what does good and bad mean? One is closer to God. One is further than God.
[00:49:30] So that was a little video that I put together and I just thought I’d share that with you because that helps understand this steps to being in state. And this is a good example of. In the podcast, I did this extra artwork to explain the point. And what we’re looking at here is your spiritual alignment on the vertical axis, on the Y axis. So that’s how aligned are you with your spirit.
[00:49:57] And over time you want to be the ideal is this purple line, which is you’re aligned throughout the day, but the reality is this green line, which is your quite well in the morning. And then you drive into work or whatever and have an argument with the boss and you fall out of alignment. Then you remember and you bring yourself back into alignment and then you drop again because Someone upset you and you know, and then you might wait until it’s just before going to bed and then you remember and you go back into alignment and then you fall asleep and you fall out of alignment because you need to be awake.
[00:50:26] And that gets explained in that episode. So useful though, very useful stuff.
[00:50:33] And that’s why going back, if we go back to here, that’s why I think you can’t really understand that until you’ve got more of a sense of what is spirituality and being more closer to God, which is practical ways to be more spiritual. The more spiritual are, the more state you have. And so that’s why the fourth step is understanding how to be more in state and what, what the goal of being in state is.
[00:51:02] And then we move on to overcoming limiting and toxic beliefs. Now remember I said spirituality is not belief. Spirituality is what happens when you stop believing and you start experiencing.
[00:51:14] And people have all kinds of spiritual beliefs.
[00:51:18] So at this point, now that they’re being spiritual and closer to God and understanding about state, is there anything they need to let go of or that is holding them back?
[00:51:29] And this is where this, these several slides come up. There’s a lot more to this episode. It’s probably one of the most important episodes.
[00:51:36] But I just want to give you a quick overview. So what we’ve got here is a person that is literally tied down by their beliefs. You can see their beliefs to these things are like tethers.
[00:51:47] Some of them they’ve let go of or they’ve snapped, they’ve overcome those beliefs.
[00:51:52] But some beliefs are ahead of them and have yet to become a problem.
[00:51:57] But some beliefs they’re very attached to and you see that rope is tight and so they can’t move forwards because they’re hanging on to that belief. And then these different beliefs have different identities. And that’s why this person’s wearing so many different hats. So they’ve got like the academic hat and the adventurer hat and the protective hat. These are all their different identities that they’re wearing because of the beliefs they’re clinging to, about, about spiritual beliefs about who they are.
[00:52:24] So they might be over intellectual, they might be protecting like scared and protecting themselves and not letting themselves go forwards. Or they, they got, they believe that they are very adventurous and believe what you want, but if it holds you back, it’s not helpful.
[00:52:39] And the goal is to reach the truth, which is this yellow sun like thing over here. Not the sun, I hasten to add, but.
[00:52:47] And to kind of flesh that out. I went through all of the different identities and things that people do that they think are spiritual and how many. And 25 out of 30 of them are things that I’ve done in the past. So there was no criticism, it was just simply acknowledging that these things are out there. But not all of them are spiritual. And so, for example, we’ve got Reiki, shamanism, lsd, Buddhism, magic of any kind, astrology, Wiccan stuff, angel healing, spirit guides, guides, tantra, crystal work, qigong, tai chi, rituals and spells, telepathy, sun worship or moon, sun gazing or moon rituals, rebirthing, astral projection, remote viewing, etc.
[00:53:35] There’s a lot more, but you get the idea. And I’ve played around with most of them, mantras, you know, visualizations, etc. Mindfulness.
[00:53:46] And a lot of these things don’t. They’re identities that look spiritual, but they’re not. But why do people do it? Because when you become spiritual, you’re starting to engage with something that’s intangible and invisible.
[00:54:00] And therefore we’re used to adorning ourselves with some kind of marker, some kind of hat, so that people know who we are and so we can look in the mirror and know who we are. So people go, well, I’m becoming spiritual, so I’m going to get into crystals, or I’m going to get into Reiki, or I’m going to get into yoga. And it’s like it might not actually be holding, helping you, it might be holding you back. It might be one of these beliefs.
[00:54:24] You believe it’s spiritual, but it’s actually holding you back. And the color coding, by the way, is just to say that some of this stuff is actually just body based. It’s not spiritual. Some of it is mind based. In fact, most of it is mind based. A few of it, a few bits of it are emotionally based. And so it’s coming from mind, it’s coming from body, it’s coming from emotions, it’s not spiritual.
[00:54:46] And that was really quite an eye opener. And I repeat the message. I did most of these things.
[00:54:52] I had to find my way through them and recognize the truth.
[00:54:58] And what came out of doing this episode was a three step detox. So the spiritual detox, letting go of or detoxing from limiting beliefs, no matter how high you may hold these beliefs, if they’re not actually limiting helping you spiritually, truly spiritually, then they’re holding you back. And so the three step detox centers around honesty about your beliefs, detachment from them, and incongruency, congruency Means, look, if you say you want to be spiritual, then understand what that really means and let go of the stuff that isn’t really spiritual, like crystals, for example. Nice. Entertaining, but not really spiritual.
[00:55:37] My sidekick has just come to join us again.
[00:55:40] He’s sitting on the floor. I was going to bring him up here so you could say hello.
[00:55:45] Hopefully you’re all following what we’re doing here. If you have questions, just fire them away in the chat. But I will press on. I’m always mindful of time. I’m doing my best to get through this as quickly as possible.
[00:55:57] So now we’ve overcome limiting toxic beliefs, then beware the trap of deception and ego. Ah, so this is interesting. What we’re starting to see is, look, there is yin and yang. There is light and dark, there is hot and cold, there is good and bad.
[00:56:15] One of the biggest traps is believing that all that, all the glitters is gold and all that everything on higher dimensions, for example, is good. It’s not, and people don’t want to hear that, but it’s truth.
[00:56:31] So we. We did this episode which. Remind me, what episode was that? That was episode 54.
[00:56:38] So you can see the order is quite a bit different from how they were, how they organically came out. So this was actually Easter time, and we’re talking about Jesus and things in that episode. But what came out of it was this picture, which I’m not going to go into explaining too much right now. But the things with horns are bad. The things with the blue thing over the heart are good. So that’s you in the middle, and you’re guiding yourself as your spirit’s guiding you.
[00:57:08] You’re getting information about people around you. And there’s this thing right at the top up here, which potentially could be a good being or something that could potentially guide you. But then there’s all these things with horns and red and that obviously symbolizes they’re not very good. And these are things on higher dimensions that want to deceive good people. And then there’s bad people down here that want to deceive bad people. Well, we’ve all met them.
[00:57:34] They’re happy to lie.
[00:57:36] And what this is showing is they can actually harm you telepathically or psychically as well, if you let them into your life. And then even good people can have bad stuff in them. What’s got into you is a classic saying. And that’s what that’s depicting there with this good person with a blue kind of pearl over their heart, which signifies their Soul and their spirit. But there’s this red horn thing in them, interfering with them and causing problems. And then even things like the TV and you know, Hollywood, by the way, Holly, Holly the tree. All magic wands are made of Hollywood. And so if you want to cast a spell and sell an illusion, then you would use Hollywood, Hollywood.
[00:58:19] So TV and films and stuff can be programming you as well to get in the way of your spirituality. And there’s a lot in that episode and one of the things I talk about there, so this, this picture that I’ve just brought up is that some people are bad, some people are very, very, they’re the more spiritual ones. And then most people are just good and they’re in the middle. But you need to be aware that there is this span of potential or span of vibration and orientation. So the people at the really bad end, they’re your psychopaths and New World Order, Illuminati, people like that.
[00:58:55] People that don’t want what’s best for decent good folk like us.
[00:59:00] And we have to just.
[00:59:02] Neutrality, which is part of being spiritual, allows us to just accept the world the way it is.
[00:59:08] Doesn’t mean we have to agree with it, but we don’t have to live in fear of it either. We can be self responsible. Remember I said one of the things I want to do is empower you to be self responsible. And so in this episode I talk about what the trap is. So on the right hand side we’ve got ego and recognizing the different types of ego that can drag us down. So fear, pride, anger, lust, wrongdoing, hedonism, nihilism, gluttony, etc. Vanity. And then on the right, on the left hand side, we’ve got the stuff that you can do that you’re empowered to do that can actually help prevent those problems. And that was about humility, gratitude, respect, non judgment, compassion and unconditional love, which are the six virtues, but also your intention, your attitude, your wisdom and your choices. And what this kind of picture.
[01:00:03] Let me grab my pointer. What this picture in the middle shows you.
[01:00:07] Although you may be having all these external influences trying to put ideas into you or sway you or lead you astray, you’re actually responsible for the biggest driver in yourself, which is you’re responsible for 75%. The maximum kind of external influence upon you is 25%. In reality, it’s normally about 1 or 2%.
[01:00:30] So even though you know yay, yay, though you walk through the valley of shadow of death, you’re actually in Control spiritually. If. If you are spiritual and you are able to stay humble and have all these good qualities of character, that’s what this is showing us, that if you slip into ego, then you’ll listen to and respond to the bad stuff. If you stay humble, spiritual, use wisdom and have a positive attitude, then you’re more likely to navigate life without going astray. It’s a wonderful episode, actually. It’s really, really empowering. I highly recommend it.
[01:01:07] But going back to the roadmap, then I’ve put it at that point after the first five, because first you need all the context before you can understand it. And then we have stay in the light. The episode was called Spiritual Warfare, our survival guide, and that was episode 67. So you see, there’s quite a. We’re going from episode 54 to 67.
[01:01:31] And very much this was talking about there is light and dark, there is good forces for good and forces against good. And it was just kind of understanding that and demystifying it. Because actually, a lot if people don’t like the idea of the fact that reality, you know, reality and duality have this dualistic nature, they’re not actually being very spiritual because spirituality allows us to be neutral, sit in the middle, be in the world, but not touched by it. And part of that is to just accept doesn’t mean endorse, it just means accept. If you go, no, I can’t. You know, fingers and ears, eyes closed, I can’t accept that. I can’t have. I can’t think about it, I can’t contemplate it. Then you basically saying, I can’t. I have to deny reality, which means I have to engage with illusion, my own illusion that none of that stuff exists. That’s a very dangerous attitude to have.
[01:02:29] So spiritual, the territory that is being fought over, I actually explained in that slide, I’m not going to say what it is right now, but the battle is really your ego versus your spirit. And once you understand that, you realize how empowered you are because all these external forces are just trying to get you to go into ego. It’s as simple as that. So, and then I name a whole load of bad characters and I name them deliberately, you know, like Lilith and the devil and Satan and people, oh, you can’t name. Oh, you know, it’s like, no, it’s just names. They’re just beings on higher dimensions. They’re weak.
[01:03:07] Their only strength is your fear. So if I name them and demystify it and I treat them, they deserve, which is with not contempt, just they’re not really that special. They’ve pulled the wool over the world’s eyes and made us fearful of them. And that gives them power over us. But actually, yeah, you know, we shouldn’t be comical about it, but they don’t have real power. Team Good has real power. Who’s in Team Good? God. Jesus. And I’ve put Yaheshua because that’s his more traditional name.
[01:03:41] And hs. What’s hs? It’s your higher self. Team Good. Small, but Team Good is powerful. In other words, if you’re aligned with God, if you’re spiritual, then the only thing that is true power is with you and all these other things and their agents on the third dimension, on the physical plane, like the World Health Organization, the New World order, Illuminati, Freemasons, NASA, Rockefeller, etc.
[01:04:04] You know, we can rise above all of that.
[01:04:07] And then understanding the metaphor of a battle, what are the weapons that are used against us? And it’s simply deception. Lust, desire, temptation, distraction, subliminal programming, disease, pain, magic and spells and enchantments. And ego. Your ego is used against you. And that’s probably the most important one to understand. And then what are your defenses? And I’d say, go and look at that episode. You know, if you just read this list we got Seeking the truth, Avoiding Giving energy and ego to negative thoughts, Devotion to God, and going into state, talking about spiritual state, which we covered earlier, Valuing your free will.
[01:04:46] You can, you can look at it all as a tick box exercise. But you. But remember, I don’t want you to believe anything. I want you to find out for yourself. So I’d go to the episode, I’d understand this a bit deeper and put it into practice.
[01:05:02] And it’s like, you know, this isn’t a one and done. It’s not. I watch that episode, tick the box. It’s done. The episode just helps us understand and then we can live it. And it’s by living these things that we become empowered.
[01:05:15] So then it’s always.
[01:05:21] That brings us on to last week’s episode, which is what can we do to make the world a better place?
[01:05:27] So we’ve been on a bit of a journey and I’ll just summarize it. First of all, understanding that there is a journey, then understanding what you are on that journey, then understanding, well, if the destination is God, how can I progress along that journey? And you’d be closer to God, then understanding more of the mechanics of that. So it’s about state. Okay then. Well, Hang on a sec. But I thought spirituality was this and I thought spirituality was that, and I enjoy this, and I’ve got this identity. And I’m sorry to say, but if you want the truth, you’re probably going to have to let go of a lot of things that aren’t really spiritual, even though you thought they were, even though they might be fun, and even though you may have invested heavily in those identities.
[01:06:08] Truth comes first, okay? So that requires a certain amount of bravery and courage, but that’s why you do it at that stage, once you’ve already got that relationship with God and your higher self that can guide you through it. And then there are traps. Narrow is the path. And so we have to be aware of that. All that is on high dimensions isn’t good. That’s fine. We can work our way past that. And understanding that there are these things that want us to slip up and fall, then understanding how we can defend against that and what their tactics are. And finally, now we are spiritual. What can we do to make the world a better place? Okay, that’s what I just described.
[01:06:49] Make the world a better place because you’re giving back. You got to a point where you’re. There is no end to this journey, by the way, but there certainly is a certain threshold where you. You are spiritual. And it’s like, okay, it’s not just about me.
[01:07:08] How can I make the world a better place? And there’s stuff that a truly spiritual person can do, the person who is negative can’t do. And there’s one more slide, so let’s just.
[01:07:20] Let’s just run that one through.
[01:07:22] So that was the. The last episode 76, and I’ve only shown a little fragment of it. So what can a negative person do to make the world a better place? Stop being negative and tend to be positive. That is not flippant, by the way. I explain a lot about what that means, but it may seem like Mark’s trivializing it by saying, stop being negative. It’s not. It’s just that that is the truth. That is what. What needs to be done.
[01:07:46] And then I talk about how they can do that and take responsibility for your vibration is something that comes up throughout. So I don’t just talk about negative people. In this diagram that you can see on the bottom right, you’ve got negative people, you’ve got good people, and then you’ve got spiritual people. And so I break it down because there’s stuff that negative people can do, but good people can do more. And spiritual People can do even more. And that’s what this on the left is showing, is that when you’re truly spiritual, then you can actually work from the state of peace.
[01:08:18] From the state of peace.
[01:08:21] And that is the potential.
[01:08:28] Once you’ve been on this journey, fully on this journey. And look, I get it, you might be halfway along, you might be at the end, you might be at the start.
[01:08:38] I would go back.
[01:08:40] In fact, I will, I will go back and I will rework this.
[01:08:43] And to put it into perspective, years ago I, when I belonged to, to a group and I lived down in Kent and the group I was going to, the teacher I had was in Manchester. And so it was a good five hour drive or so every time I went up there.
[01:08:58] Well, let’s just do it. So if the, you could, in five hours I could have done 1, 2, 3, probably the first three of these videos.
[01:09:08] Now I’d go up there, spend two hours with a teacher, ask questions, not really get meaningful answers quite often and just get Madame Vlavatsky or Alice Bailey or something esoteric, you know, given back and it’s like, well, that’s not really practical that I can put into use in everyday life. Whereas that’s one of the reasons why I have put so much effort and energy into these videos to say, okay, look, how can I explain this in a practical, down to earth way that actually benefits you rather than just quoting some highbrow esoteric philosophy, but has no real value.
[01:09:53] So this is all born out of experience. What I’m sharing here is born out of experience. And by the way, may I, you know, remember I said I don’t have all the answers. This is just a roadmap.
[01:10:05] This is just me taking the videos and the information that comes with them and all the work that’s gone in there.
[01:10:12] This is taking these free resources and saying, look, if someone’s just starting out or someone wants a more structured path to follow, this is what I’d recommend based on what’s there. If I was mapping it out from beginning, totally clean canvas, it might look different.
[01:10:29] But it just struck me that recent episodes and certainly season two has much more of a spiritual narrative. And you know, in some of these episodes there’s actual exercises and things to do and, you know, really walking people through the process. And I wish I would have given anything to have access to this 30 years ago. It would have sped up my journey, saved me a lot of pain, a lot of mistakes.
[01:10:58] So that’s why I’m sharing it here. So, so we are kind of drawing to an end. And I know I’ve kind of gone quickly as ever to get through this, but that was the mission for tonight accomplished, which was, who am I? Why should you even listen to me? And remember, I don’t want you to listen to me and just trust blindly or anything. I want you to find out for yourself. That’s the only thing that has value, is what you experience for yourself.
[01:11:31] What am I teaching? So I’ve given you an insight into that. And obviously that’s not the sum of what I’m teaching. That was just based on what have I been looking at based on your questions over the last 25 episodes or so.
[01:11:44] And if you wanted to recommend some to someone who’s just starting out, what would be the path for them to follow? Or if you want to go do it yourself and put the kind of videos in the right order so that you’ve got some kind of structure to follow in terms of your own learning, evolution and growth. But remember, watching, watching the videos, that’s not spirituality. You can be spiritual while you’re watching them, and you’ll get a lot more from them. So I would recommend being in state. I’d also recommend maybe just listening to the podcast, because sometimes the visual stuff actually distracts. Sometimes it helps. So once you’ve got the visual stuff, listen again on a podcast. And then all the visual stuff’s already there, but now you can really hear what’s being said. And I’ll just share a lovely story because sometimes people will watch a video or listen to a podcast. And I remember writing a book. One of the books I wrote wrote Spiritual Life Explained, which is really good for understanding your relationship with you, God and your higher self.
[01:12:55] And. And so. And it was based on some podcasts I’d done. And someone fed back.
[01:13:01] I don’t remember you saying that in a podcast.
[01:13:03] And I was like, literally, I took them back and I showed them that part of the podcast, and it’s like they never heard it. Even though they’d listened two or three times for the podcast, they’d never heard that particular bit.
[01:13:15] Because when you know there’s all kinds of things that are going on with us, and the best way to listen to anything or watch anything is to be totally present, totally in state. But that requires practice and that requires a certain energy, and that is being spiritual. So you could be spiritual right now listening to this, and that would be really, really helpful because your higher self would be giving you more information than just what you’re getting via My voice, your. Your higher self would be filling in the true meaning behind my words, if that makes sense.
[01:13:47] But when it was written down, it engaged a different part of that person. And then they got the information that they’d missed the first time.
[01:13:54] So that’s why it’s worth going back to some of these.
[01:13:58] Because who you are today is not the person you were. If you watched them or listened to them in the past, you’ve grown.
[01:14:05] But this is a journey, the growth. It’s not endless growth. There comes a certain point, and there will also come a time when we’re no longer here. So it’s, do you want to make the most of the time that you have to be the most spiritual you could be? That’s really the question. That’s the invitation.
[01:14:22] And I really value your time. I value you kind of being here with me. I’m looking over. I can’t see any questions in the chat, so. So we won’t bother going to the chat unless questions appear in the next few minutes.
[01:14:36] But really all that remains to be said is this is all free resources. And it’s not perfect. Nothing down here is. But if it’s useful, if it helps move you in the right direction, if it helps inspire you or someone that you care about, then it’s there to be shared, it’s there to be enjoyed, it’s there to help you on your spiritual journey.
[01:14:58] And that’s the best that I can do.
[01:15:00] That’s all that I’m here for, is to try and help.
[01:15:04] So with that, it’ll be really nice if, you know, follow that kind of roadmap. Let me know what you think. Let me know if you agree or disagree. Would you have put some of the videos in a different order, and if so, why? Or have I missed any of the episodes out, even from season one, that you think I should add to the roadmap? That’d be really, really helpful. Because, you know, as a good friend once said, not one of us is smarter than all of us. And so I value your input as well. But there are no questions. And now’s a good time to just say, keep making the right choice. And when you’ve watched the episode on Good, Bad, Right and Wrong, you’ll understand why I say that. Keep making the right choice, and I will hopefully see you Thursday night next week. And also there’s time with Books on a Sunday as well if you want more spiritual motivation, inspiration and guidance in life.
[01:15:58] But for now, God bless you and I’ll see you soon.

Going deeper than just ideas and beliefs to experience first real spiritual awakening. This is a journey of the heart, not the head.
[01:16:44] So take this moment to just become a little bit stiller, more present, more neutral.
[01:16:54] Now notice what you notice when I ask you this question.
[01:17:01] What in this particular episode has been most useful?
[01:17:08] Now who in your life at this particular time would benefit the most from knowing this too?
[01:17:14] Maybe it’s one person, or maybe it’s more than one. But because sharing is caring, it’s really nice to know that you can actually share this show with them and therefore help them this show is completely free to enjoy and benefit from. [01:18:28] So God bless you. And remember, real change starts when we put into practice what we’re learning so that we go from thinking and doing to finally being.
[01:18:47] So take what you’ve learned today and keep on being the best version of you.
