Jesus’s Teachings of “The Way”: Inspired my Number Plate.

If you’ve seen my campervan recently you may have noticed something different. Not just the big sticker on the back window, but I’ve also changed the number plate. In this video I explain why and the real reasons, including Jesus’s teachings, may surprise you.

Jesus’s Teachings of “The Way” are a constant inspiration

I’m not talking about religion but rather a bigger spiritual perspective which is that behind everything good is God. When looking back at historical spiritual figures then Jesus really does stand out. When Jesus arrived two thousand years ago he was the first real spiritual teacher. Let me explain why. Up till then “God” was portrayed as wrathful, angry and to be obeyed out of fear. Others spoke of many different gods. So people then had to choose between, many gods, one angry god or no god.

Jesus, however, spoke of one loving God who was benevolent and really cared about humanity. He also spoke of light and of love and of forgiveness. Jesus’s teachings were spiritually uplifting and gave a higher purpose to life. You or I might understand this from a spiritual perspective in two keys ways. Firstly as raising our soul’s vibration to become more aligned with love. Secondly and importantly to be closer to God.

Jesus’s Teachings Today?

Jesus’s teachings are as relevant today as ever and I believe that the guidance continues. This video explains why I have changed the number plate reflecting the respect I have for Jesus and indeed God. It’s not about “showing off” but rather “inspiring”.

I came up with the idea at the start of September. I was at the lovely Portree, Isle of Skye campsite working on the latest book at the time. To visualise what it might look like I took this photo and edited it. Below is the quick mock up of the numberplate and the window decal I made at the time:

I soon had the number plate and window sticker ordered and you’ve seen the final result in the video! I love how when we are guided an idea can become reality in a short amount of time. Especially when things line up and we act. Thanks for the guidance and for those of you who helped out. Putting that vinyl decal on the rear window was definitely a two-man job!
